Temporary relief of corneal oedema.
Ocustill (sodium chloride 5%) is a hypertonic ophthalmic solution indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms of corneal oedema. The product works by drawing fluid out of the cornea to reduce the oedema and associated discomfort.
Instil 1 or 2 drops into the affected eye every 3 to 4 hours or as directed by a doctor. Avoid touching the eye with the dispenser and clean the applicator thoroughly before closing the container. Before use, check that the tamper-evident ring is securely closed. The product is sterile until first opened. Do not use if the container is damaged. Close the container carefully after use and keep it tightly closed. Consult a doctor if you are using other medicinal products or medical devices administered into the eye. Do not use the product in the event of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. Use of the product may cause burning and temporary irritation. Do not use the product in the event of eye injuries. If the symptoms persist or irritation occurs, consult a doctor. It is important to inform doctor or pharmacist of any undesired effects not reported in the insert leaflet. Discard the eye solution 90 days after first opening. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the package.
Store at a temperature between 2°C and 25°C. Keep away from heat sources. Protect from freezing. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
