Biolan Gel eye drops provide long-lasting relief, moisturisation and care for symptoms associated with:

• mechanical effects – e.g. when wearing hard or soft contact lenses or undergoing ophthalmic diagnostic procedures,
• environmental factors – e.g. air conditioning, cold, dry air or air polluted by substances such as cigarette smoke,
• eye strain caused by working at a computer or microscope or driving for extended periods.

Preservative-free Biolan Gel eye drops are also well tolerated during long-term use. Biolan Gel is suitable for contact lens wearers. The contact lenses do not have to be removed during the application of the eye drops.

Biolan Gel is a sterile, preservative-free, viscoelastic product that forms a transparent protective layer on the ocular surface. Biolan Gel eye drops contain sodium hyaluronate – the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid which, thanks to its physicochemical properties, forms an even and long-lasting protective layer on the ocular surface without impairing vision.

Separate one single-dose container (minim). Before use, make sure that the single-dose container is intact. Open the container by twisting its upper flat tip (do not tear it off). Tilt your head slightly backwards, look upwards, gently pull down the lower eyelid and instil 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 3-5 times daily. After instilling the product, slowly close your eyes to allow the solution to spread evenly over the ocular surface. If the symptoms worsen or do not subside after using the product, consult an ophthalmologist!

Do not use the product if the single-dose container is damaged. Do not touch the eye with the tip of the single-dose container. Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the components. For single use only. As Biolan Gel contains no preservatives, any solution not used immediately after opening must be discarded. If other ophthalmic products need to be used, wait 15 minutes before applying Biolan Gel. Biolan Gel should be applied last. Do not use in infected or injured eyes. Temporary blurred vision may occur after instillation. Do not drive or operate machinery during this time. Wait until normal vision has returned. Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on each single-dose container and the carton.

Store at a temperature between 2°C and 25°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light by storing the single-dose containers in the carton.
