Disorders of the tear film and ocular surface, including those occurring in patients with eye infections.

Eye drops with coating, moisturising and protective properties. Keratosept eye drops are a sterile hydrogel solution containing:

  • polyvinyl alcohol with coating, moisturising, viscoelastic, mucoadhesive and protective properties,
  • dexpanthenol, which belongs to the group of B vitamins and is an analogue of pantothenic acid, with tissue-nourishing and epithelial-protective properties,
  • hexamidine diisethionate, polyhexanide hydrochloride and disodium edetate (EDTA) – substances with antiseptic (antimicrobial) properties.

Thanks to their properties, Keratosept eye drops effectively support the regeneration of corneal epithelium damaged by contact lenses, air conditioning, sunlight, artificial lighting or computer monitors. Keratosept stabilises the tear film and protects the ocular surface in all tear film disorders, including those occurring in patients with eye infections.

Thanks to the antiseptic (antimicrobial) agents, the solution remains sterile after first opening the packaging and protects ocular tissues against irritation and infections caused by smog, smoke, airborne particles and air pollution.

Polyvinyl alcohol at a concentration of 1.25% gives the drops rheological properties similar to those of tear fluid and ensures effective adhesion to the ocular mucosa, giving the drops coating, moisturising and protective properties without impairing vision.
The hydrogel structure also provides prolonged action of the product on the ocular mucosal surface, enhancing the nourishing effects of the vitamins and promoting epithelial regeneration.

Methylsulphonylmethane, one of the ingredients of Keratosept eye drops, contains biologically active sulphur, which facilitates the penetration of dexpanthenol into the cells.

Instil 1–2 drops of the Keratosept medical device into the conjunctival sac by gently squeezing the bottle. If necessary, the drops may be administered 2–3 times daily.

Do not touch the surface of the eye with the dropper tip. Do not continue use if the eye infection persists. Do not use concomitantly with other eye drops. Do not use in the event of known intolerance to any of the ingredients. Do not use after the expiry date indicated by the EXP symbol on the carton and label. Use within 30 days of first opening the packaging.

Store below 25°C. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
